The tourist zone of Monteverde is known worldwide for its efforts towards conservation and a lifestyle centered on respect for nature.

COMMUNITY OF SANTA ELENA

Nestled in the Sierra de Tilaran community is a mixture of very specific characteristics of rural and developing city of cobbled streets and ballast, is a 1330 m. Altitude has a very cool temperature, it has nice scenery due to the irregular topography.

Quakers

CLOUD FOREST BIOLOGICAL RESERVE MONTEVERDE

The reserve has a diversity of flora and fauna, much of which is 'only' in the world and have become an inescapable attraction visitation where tourists and nature lovers share a space scientist to enjoy your interests different.

The Santa Elena Reserve as it is commonly known is dedicated to the protection of the cloud forest and contributing to the education of the community of Santa Elena, is administered by the Vocational Technical College of St. Helena, the proceeds are used to protect the forest and develop environmental programs.
